
Peter is a London based designer for performance.
His practice spans set and costume design for theatre, devised theatre making & site specific work. Peter is one of the 2021 Linbury Prize winners for stage design.
Peter is passionate about exploring how design can be used to create meaningful and thought-provoking experiences for both performer and audience. His work is rooted in feeling, investigating what it means to connect and access new projects through different forms of language harnessing light, movement, sound, and object to form the foundation of his work.
Recent credits include Shut Up, I’m Dreaming for The National Theatre. Boy Parts Soho Theatre, Short Big Show for Hope Somerset House, co-directed with Kane Husbands. The Shape of Things at the Park 200. Attempts On Her Life Guildhall School of Music & Drama, Anthem & Horizon The Bush Theatre, The Beat of Our Hearts Exeter Northcott & Patient Light UK tour.
Peter is a visiting practitioner at Central Saint Martins & for The University of the Arts London where he leads workshops and has taught on the BA Performance Design & Practice course.
